Jon Von Neumann

John Von Neumann

John von Neumann has a lot to do with the computer. Something that is interesting is that John designed a little thing called the CPU. The CPU stands for the central which is what carries out the commands of the computer. You can also say this is the primary unit and element of a computers functions and actions. The next thing that goes with a computer is the bus. A bus is multiple physical wires or cables which can be shared by multiple hardware components in order to communicate with one another. As I did some research on the computer I found that there are two types of primary busses in a computer. The first bus is the eternal bus which allows the processor to communicate with the computers central memory. The second bus is the input and output buses. This allows components such as USB and CD ROMs to be use and communicate with one another.
Output devices are things we use to get information out of computers. Some output devices are things such as monitors, CDs, printers, USB devices, headphones, and anything else you need that involves being outputted. Input devices are things that send any data or hardware to a computer. Some of these things are mousses, keyboards, and also CDS. I have read that CDs are both input and output devices. John von Neumann is my hero because without his knowledge I would not be able to take advantage of the thing the world calls a computer
